  • Work for @thecalfatfootdairy . The cut of mother and calf is surrounded by cow parsley, ivy and at the top is a loose interpretation of an ash tree, some of their favourite grazing treats I’m told. Proper raw milk from an inspirational farm.
  • A hare erupted from the Meadows’s stone bank, less than a yard from my next step. The power from his hind legs all together pulled the mossy earth from under me. Before I could get my camera to click he was gone. So this picture (not dolly’s back) is of his vapour trail, slowly evaporating into the plantations musk. His ears were singed black, thick fur, much redder than I’d imagined from distance. The closest I’ll ever get to this beast again stood on my flimsy human legs. @spreacombefarm
  • Those trees rising up from the other side of the Farm’s valley are what remains visible of an iron age fort. Hiding above a rushing brook, concealed behind her misty breath and buried under layers of time.
